Thyroid Lobectomy with Isthmectomy:

  • This involves removing one lobe of the thyroid along with the isthmus (the tissue that connects the two lobes).

Thyroidectomy with Neck Dissection:

  • In cases of thyroid cancer with spread to nearby lymph nodes, a neck dissection may be performed to remove affected lymph nodes.
